So there was a touch of anticipation in Jodi Flynn's voice the other day when she asked the woman behind the counter of My Coffeehouse in Madison Valley, "Do you really have H&H Bagels?"

Julie Parker, owner of My Coffeehouse in Madison Park, has H&H Bagels shipped from New York, much to the delight of 3-year-old Piper Shethar.

Sure enough, a framed certificate leaned against the cash register in the bright, airy, inviting and definitely un-H&H-like place. It said the bagels were from H&H in Manhattan and certified as kosher by Rabbi Eliyahu Shuman from the Star-K Kosher Certification Office.
